R&D Projects

Information for Research partners and collaborators for R&D project:

Ø Grid-India shall upload on its website a list of research objectives, on 15th January, for taking up in the upcoming financial year, based on the present challenges in the Indian power system and the future developments / innovative requirements envisaged. Ø Invitation may be extended to its interested employees, academia, other PSUs, Research Organizations, and private entities to submit their proposals to meet the aforesaid research objectives , to the technical committee of GRID-INDIA. Ø Interested Grid-India employees, academia, other PSUs, Research Organizations, and private entities to submit their research proposals which shall inter alia contain feasibility studies, research methodology and development proposals within (01) one month (i.e., 15th February) to the technical committee. Ø Research proposals should also have an implementation strategy, identified with specific plans, with clearly defined tasks, estimates of necessary resources, time targets, key deliverables, monitoring, and execution plans in prescribed format, as provided in Annexure-2. Ø There can be multiple research proposals for a research objective which shall be suitably assessed by the GRID-INDIA R&D project administration committee. Ø R&D project administration committee shall inform the parties regarding a provisional acceptance or rejection of the proposals, in writing, with a brief explanation, preferably within (01) one month (i.e., 15th March) of the receipt of the proposals.
