Mr. Sanjay Mehrotra (DIN:02263323) is the Director (Finance) of our Company. He is a qualified Cost Accountant and also holds a Master’s degree in Commerce.

Shri Mehrotra is an accomplished professional with over thirty-four years of successful experience in managing financials affairs of central Power sector PSUs under Ministry of Power of significant importance engaged in the diverse business of Power System Operation, Financing of Power Sector entities, Transmission and Generation, namely PFC, REC, POWERGRID and NHPC.

Prior to joining GRID-INDIA, Shri Mehrotra was working as Executive Director (Finance) of Power Finance Corporation Ltd and led various verticals of finance functions of India’s largest NBFC – Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and played a vital role in strategic planning for raising of funds, public issue of listed bonds and stressed asset resolution.

Shri Mehrotra has an extensive experience in project financing and infrastructure development, formulation and execution of consultancy assignments, fund mobilization from domestic as well as international markets, banking & treasury, asset liability management and in risk management.

He has demonstrated ability to establish goals and strategies and deliver best possible business results, possesses strong leadership and interpersonal skills to establish successful relationships at all levels of staff, management and stakeholders.

He has been appointed as Director (Finance) on our Board in December, 2023.
